Well now that it's out and we've all had a chance to explore what do ya'll think, was it what you expected? Personally I think it was made out to be better than it actually is. I've done all the quests I can find on two characters starting them now on Jabba the ride is neat but I think the coins were a little too easy to find. I don't really see the challenge here... The new clothing items are neat though I do enjoy those.. And the crafting is fun, I also enjoy the battle system but still I wish there was just.. More. For all of you W101 players, you might agree here I think they should have extended the max level when they released a new area. Something to DO ya know Thoughts?

~Moved to Chat Threads~ SSV is absolutely cool! I like the concept and the art of it. The only thing I honestly do not like about it is the combat area. I hate having to battle most of the time, and it really bores me at most of the time too! Other than that, it's great! ;D

If I could change one thing about Sunstone Valley, is being forced to fight whatever is around us. We should have a "peaceful" setting like on Minecraft! (I've never played minecraft but I've heard of the settings before )

Sunstone Valley is very cool indeed. I wouldn't say it's amazing but SOE did some fine work with SV. Their new clothing are amazing. Especially the Skull Gear, Backward Baseball Hat, Zipped Leather Jacket, etc. But I feel that some new clothing are just replicas of the brawler gear, which I feel is kinda useless to members but now non-members can get a feel of mix job clothings.
Another thing I liked was the music. I don't know how you can describe it but I get the feel of being in a dangerous yet adventurous place.
Some things I don't like about SV is their collection reward. I've been waiting for a year to see what new wearable prizes they'll give out in the collection. And I must say, I was disappointed when I found out they were only housing items.
Also, the main concept of sunstone valley is mainly combat. Which they've updated the creatures attacks to some high lvl stuns ability. Which makes our combat a whole lot harder. What I'm disappointed is they never added any extra ability in our skill set that could help us in combat. We still have our old skill set with the same attack skills.
Also, I think I mistakenly saw it, but I thought that SV was going to have some type of PvP area. But then again I might have seen it wrong. Though it'll be cool if they did have some type of PvP arena where players can go battle each other and win some points to get some new and stronger weapons to use in PvP or in any combat.

I absolutely love Sunstone Valley! It reminds me so much of the Arches National Park area since it also has arches. I've always loved desert areas, so needless to say I was definitely anticipating the release of Sunstone. I do have one complaint though: Sometimes I just like to explore, especially with the area being new and with the open combat feature, I get attacked a lot when all I want to do is look around.

With further adventuring into sunstone I'm starting to enjoy it more. I do see the downside of the battle system, I enjoy it though maybe they could have gone with a system like many other mmo's where you are not attacked unless you attack first, making it easier to travel through SSV.

I was wondering why they couldn't bring along the old combat system along with the SSV Update. SSV is a great place itself, but I met with DEVTEAM Member : Chris, and he told me that they where changing the drop rates, and "Pony Vale" The offside of sunstone won't be added for quite a while. Also, any rumors about the vault ever returning is false, along with Trade Scams. Trade Scams cannot be assisted any longer by the Free Realms Referee's. Mainly, because they have much more coding issues to deal with and ect. If you are ever trading TCG to World Items, i suggest that you trade World Items first, even if you are trading the world items. Please trade first, but make sure the other person has the item in TCG no matter what. Along with this post I want to mention that SSV contains special things that are coming out soon, like new combat area's. Also, be alert for Spooktacular coming out soon. It will be a blast! Hope you find this informative. - Ace[/b]

Wow! Thanks for the information Ace. That's very cool you got to meet one of the DEVTEAM's members. Also, I knew that the vault wouldn't come back, but of course people who demand the vault back would get their hands on false information and spread it around. Yet again, I was looking forward for Pony Vale or Ponyland or whatever it is originally called. I guess they just decided to work more on Sunstone Valley than areas around it. Though I'm excited for those new items and new areas you mentioned. They never let me down when it comes to clothing. I love dressing up my character. (Ahahaha yes, I still find it quite entertaining) And since Spooktacular is almost here again. I can't wait to finish up all of my unfinished quests from last year. I have a lot. Hehe As for scamming... When trading an in game item to a VR in tcg, it can be difficult for that's the easiest way to scam someone in FR. I suggest to only trade with a person whom you trust, that way you have a less chance of being scammed. I guess FR couldn't keep up with all the scamming going on, so now we're responsible for our own stuff. Which is good in my opinion.

Sunstone Valley is cool, but I believe its not as exiciting as it was supposed to be. I guess instead of making Sunstone a huge land like Briarwood they split it into parts, which we have to wait for. I can't wait for Spooktacular like Hikari said above.
As for the max levels, yes I agree with you on that Jabba, they could have raised them to 30 or 40.
